Summary
Directed by Lasse Hallström and based on the novel by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, DEAR JOHN tells story of John Tyree (Channing Tatum), a young soldier home on leave, and Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the couple is separated by John’s increasingly dangerous deployments. While meeting only sporadically, they stay in touch by sending a continuous stream of love letters overseas–correspondence that eventually triggers fateful consequences.

I love the reviews on this movie. It really deserves all the attention because the roles the actors played were simply stunning. One of the best movies I have seen in the year 2009. I never not seen any romance movies lately because most of the times they are dreadful, but the movie 500 days of summer opened my eyes that romance movies can still be entertaining. I didn’t particularly watch it in the movie theaters, I watched it online at http://tr.im/500summers.
