How would you feel, if one morning you wake up and come to know that you have been poisoned in your sleep and are about to die?
Well it happens to Chev Chelios, the number one Hitman in Los Angeles, who is working for the Mafia top boss Carlito. Chelios wakes up to find a recorded CD which shows his long time rival Ricky Verona, poisoning Chelios in his sleep and telling him that he has only about an hour more to live. Angry Chelios storms out of his apartment and calls his personal physician Doctor Miles to ask him for any antidote of the poison. Doc tells him that based on the symptoms told by Chelios, he has been injected by some ‘Nasty Chinese Shit’ known as Beijing Cocktail. Which slows down the heart beat and eventually leads to the death of the victim and so in order to survive and keep his heart beating he must keep his adrenaline pumping through constant excitement and danger, or get some artificial adrenaline, epinephrine (artificial adrenaline). Even still he must keep his adrenaline up through reckless and dangerous acts such as picking fights with other gangsters, stealing things, committing robberies, fighting with police, driving cars through shopping malls and even having sex with his girlfriend in public place. The entire film takes place over a single day, starting in the morning and going through to late afternoon/early evening.
In the end, like most of the gangster movies, all of the gangsters meet up at one place and a shootout erupts which kills Carlito and Chelios and Verona indulge in a fight in a helicopter when Verona tries to fled the scene. Chelios kills Verona but is also pushed out off the helicopter and falls to his death in the streets, with ending credits rolling up on the screen.
Actions sequences and cinematography is gripping and gives you a rush into your adrenaline. Storyline seems to be neglected in some scenes where you see some unimportant sex and nudity along with a pinch of violence and gore which was never needed in the script. Jason Statham plays a psychopath really well and looks great as a hitman. However he still gives you a feel of his Transporter series in his acting.
Music is great and VFX takes the full marks for excellent graphics. The films containes strong language, reference to drugs, extreme violence, sex and nudity. All what you can expect from an ‘adult’ film which is definitely not suitable to watch with family and kids. But if you are looking for a one day adventure and want to feel the rush, get on the ride and get your adrenaline pumping.

Filmmaker Chris Waitt sets out on a quest to find out why all of his romantic relationships have ended in complete failure. Tracking down every one of his former lovers, he finds a general resentment, stemming from his constant unreliability. He then sets out to test different approaches that will prepare him for true love, and a lasting relationship.
Chris, sets out on a mission to find out why all of his relationships failed. He starts tracking down all of his previous girlfriends and interviews them on why they all dumped him. In this mission he takes help from his mother who is desperately trying to fix him with a nice girl. After a sad realisation that he failed in all of his relationships maybe because he never got physical with any of his girlfriends (also the girls used to think that he is gay), he decides to make sure that there is nothing wrong with him physically. Unsatisfied with a sexologist’s results who said that there is nothing wrong with him, he then goes to a female sex guru and ends up getting physically tortured. At this moment you will feel like asking yourself if this film has gone a bit over the edge? But soon the filmmaker answers the question himslef in a self video log confession by saying, “I am making a film about my love life, not about my penis.” The film gets back on track and our friend finally finds the answer along with his true love. From consulting a sex therapist to ordering a massive supply of Viagras and consuming all of them at once, this film gives you a variety of emotions from uncontrollable laughs to feeling the physical agony the filmmaker went through.
Though it is not a film which you can watch with your family due to the strong language and nudity in the film but if you think you can handle all this, it is definitely a good laugh. So if you are also wondering why your last girlfriend left you, get this one and watch it.
